4 Months Old Today!

LOOK AT MY FEET!

Wow, I'm 4 months old already!! Time flies when you're having fun!! I've been doing lots of fun activities lately. Been going to the beach in the evening and going fishing with grampa, dad, mom, and a whole bunch of other people. We don't catch much but it's fun! I've also been going to the cliffwalk a lot to walk my dog, Koda. He needs a lot of exercise so I figure the Cliffwalk is the place to be, besides, I can always fall asleep while my mom and dad carry me!

The big news is that I'm 4 months old today! First I went to the gym with mom and dad and worked out. I gotta be able to keep up with all the other kids so it's a good thing that I stay big and strong. Then I had to go to the doctor's...Good news was that I weigh 15.5lbs and I am 26 1/4 inches long!! I'm a BIG girl!!! I'm gonna be tall says the doc! Bad news was that I had to get more shots! Mom held my hands and dad hid behind mom the whole time. Mom kept telling me that I would be alright...I cried for just a few minutes but once mom picked me up, I was fine.

Then, the BIGGEST news of the entire day came around 6:00 tonight. Mom gave me my first round of rice cereal!!! WOW what a treat! At first I really didn't know what to do with it, I just kind of kept my mouth open and stared at mom. Then I realized that this tasted kinda good. So I gave it a shot! Ate the whole bowl! Mom and dad were so proud of me!!

Well, I better go rest up! Another big day is around the corner! Plus, I hear that we are going camping this weekend! WHOOOHOOO!

HI! Lots of adventures for me lately! I've started to really roll over now. Mom stepped away for 2 minutes to do the dishes and when she came back, she found me half way under the couch! Silly mom is going to have to keep a better eye on me!

I went to the farm for the first time the other day. I got to see some goats, ducks, chickens, one pony, and some cows. There was even a Hereford out there! Mom was telling me that papa use to have lots of those cows. Dad wore his John Deere hat to dress for the occasion. It was a really good time!

While Baylee is napping...I'll fill you in on our latest adventures.

Baylee is really starting to love the outdoors. She enjoys going on walks around town (especially when all the lights and music is playing), loves to go to the beach with mom and Auntie Anna, and recently found a new adventure by going to the pool and getting her feet wet.




Then great grampy and nan came to visit and we all went out clamming one afternoon. Needless to say, mom and I just wanted to walk around and watch the guys do all the dirty work...but someday, I'll have my hands muddy and I'll find my own clams!



It's crazy to think that Baylee will be 3 months old on Friday already! Time has gone by so fast! She is really starting to be entertaining! She smiles NONSTOP!! Baylee is always so happy; from the moment you look over the crib rail to the moment she gets her "jammies" on, she always has a bright smile on her face.
Baylee even has started to roll over already! She rolled over twice on July 17th...(this is a touchy subject)...Mom missed the 2 roll overs because she was taking the dog out...but at least dad got in on the action. But mom got to see baby B roll over on Saturday and it was pretty exciting!! Baylee even got to go out to a movie with mom and dad yesterday!! She did so well in the theater...not a single cry! She watched about half the movie then slept the other half. (apparently she found Batman to be boring) Greg and I couldn't have asked for a better baby! She's amazing!
